She has a degree in Agricultural and Forestry Sciences from the University of Perugia. From 1983 to 1987, she worked for Sincron of Modena in the field of regional economic planning; then, until 1997, she directed the winery of Tenuta Valdipiatta in Montepulciano. Self-employed since 1999, she is a winemaking consultant in various DOC wine production areas: Brunello di Montalcino (Giani Brunelli), Morellino di Scansano (Roccapesta), Vino Nobile di Montepulciano (Salcheto), Monteregio di Massa Marittima (Ampeleia), Orcia (Podere Albiano), Montecucco (Amantis), Chianti Classico (Tolaini), Sagrantino di Montefalco (Opere Pie Riunite di Perugia), IGT Toscana (Le Buche di Olivi, FontanaNenni), IGT Umbria (La Palerna, I girasoli di Sant’Andrea).
